Yookee Roh, PT, DPT

Dr. Yookee Roh received her doctorate of physical therapy from MCPHS University in Worcester, MA and started her career specializing in orthopedics.  Through her clinical experience, she quickly developed a special interest in pelvic floor and furthered her education taking courses at Herman and Wallace. Yookee now treats an array of patient populations and is passionate about helping individuals return to their normal function. She prioritizes educating her patients about their body and hopes to minimize stigma associated with pain, injury, and pelvic health.

Having been an athlete growing up, Dr. Roh understands the frustrations of healing from injuries. She swam competitively in high school and college, and struggled with low back, shoulder, and knee pain, most of which were of unexplained onset. While recovering from these setbacks were difficult, her personal experiences have helped her treat her patients as she understands the bio-psycho-social influences of rehabilitating from injuries.

Dr. Roh looks forward to connecting with her patients and helping them understand the root of their dysfunction or injuries to restore pain-free movements. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
